Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
Applicants must submit:

Business name and description
-
How long the business has been operating
-
The grant category they are applying for
-
A headshot for your profile
-
A short explanation (250–300 words) describing how the $1,000 will be used to strengthen their business
Application Fee:
$15 per application
Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on:

Clarity of the business idea

Practical use of the funds

Potential for business growth

Commitment to entrepreneurship

Alignment with the mission of Daughters Across the Diaspora
Post-Award Requirement
Grant recipients must submit a 60-day follow-up update describing:

How the funds were used
-
Progress has been made in their business
-
Lessons learned
Selected recipients may also be featured in Daughters Across the Diaspora promotional materials and alumni highlights.
