Daughters Across the Diaspora is proud to offer quarterly business grants designed to support women entrepreneurs who are ready to grow. 
 
Each quarter, we award:
  • 5 Women Entrepreneurs 
  • $1,000 Each

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

Applicants must submit: 

  1. Business name and description 

  2. How long the business has been operating 

  3. The grant category they are applying for 

  4. A headshot for your profile 

  5. A short explanation (250–300 words) describing how the $1,000 will be used to strengthen their business 

 

Application Fee: 

$15 per application

Selection Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on: 

  • Clarity of the business idea 

  • Practical use of the funds 

  • Potential for business growth 

  • Commitment to entrepreneurship 

  • Alignment with the mission of Daughters Across the Diaspora

Post-Award Requirement

Grant recipients must submit a 60-day follow-up update describing: 

  • How the funds were used 

  • Progress has been made in their business 

  • Lessons learned 

Selected recipients may also be featured in Daughters Across the Diaspora promotional materials and alumni highlights.
